I have been a long time reader of Wayfare Magazine since my wonderful and hip sister Ashley turned me on to the great online journal. The magazine takes an honest look at travel and focuses more on the journey than on the place in particular. The photography is breathtaking and leaves you with sense of wanderlust that is a bit hard to shake.
Well, Wayfare has just started to do print editions of the magazine and it is just so beautiful. Off set printed on uncoated paper and side-sewn with thread, you can tell the magazine is a labor of a lot of love. I've really enjoyed the recent influx of magazines and journals that focus on simple design, great photos and truthful storytelling (and nice print quality too), but Wayfare really takes the cake.

ReplyDeleteOf course I follow you! My favorite part of traveling these days is different than when we were young. On our Ireland trip, it was the feeling of adventure and uncertainty when we had no plans, and the discovering of wonderful places(do you remember that street in Galway with all the restaurants and shops? I want to go back there!) Now that I have kids, traveling is a luxury. My favorite part is seeing their world grow.
ReplyDeleteI think I already followed you. :) I mostly think about food when I travel, haha. I'm always excited to find a cute breakfast or lunch place. evenstar88(at)mac.com
