I love getting film developed. My husband has been developing his own black and white photos and its so cool to see the entire photo process from taking the pictures to the final product (I just got him the last of the equipment he needed in order to make his own prints too:). He just made a great website to host our photos and he is also blogging about some of the pictures that he takes. You can find the new site here: www.hjtrovato.com. Click on Posts to access his blog and then like his page on Facebook for fun photo updates.
Color film takes a bit more chemicals and do-dads to develop, so Kenny drops it off for me at the local CVS. He's on a first name basis with the staff there now. Anyways, here are a couple photos from a recent trip across the bay a few weeks ago:

How neat that he can develop his own film! You guys take "amateur photographer" to a whole new level :) That last photo of Owen is gorgeous. Definitely just as good if not better than the ones by the photographer at the hospital. Such a sweetie!

ReplyDeleteLove these photos! The one of your little boy is so precious! I took a photography class in university several years ago, and I loved learning how to process my own film and develop the photographs. There something so much more amazing about the photos when you do everything yourself :)
