Jonathan + Rachel | Home Family Session

Thank the Lord for sweet and beautiful friends. Jonathan and Rachel started to coming to our church just a bit over a year ago and quickly became special friends to us, followed by little Kuyper coming into the world. They invited us into their lovely home for an afternoon of photos and (amazing) food and we love the cute faces Kuyper gave us once he warmed up:) I love taking photos of families in their homes as they are. These are the moments I want to remember of our friends and I can only hope we give them a tiny reminder of these precious days.

Ian | Orchard Family Photos

It was just about a year ago that I got to meet tiny Ian for the first time a few weeks after his birth. I've know Allison since we were kids and was so happy to be able to document her growing family. Ian is such a precious little guy, scooting about and loving on his parents. My mom always reminds me that when you have a little baby, eventually you get to the point where it seems like they've always been there. Ian seems to know his place in this family well and I'm so glad to see their love continue to grow.

Emma : Annapolis Portrait Session

There are those people that I just know are kindred spirits; the kind of people that you can sit and enjoy a coffee with and have easy conversation and "me too!" moments. Emma is one of those people for me. We went to the same high-school a few years apart and since then have been following each other's blogs. She is the awesome lady behind The Hippie Memoirs, a delightful blog where she shares her everyday happenings, photos, "10 Things I Love" lists, and so much more. The voice she shares on her blog is genuine and true to who she really is and I can't help but love seeing an authentic spirit behind such a cool blog.
