Trouvé Magazine Volume 1 | Giveaway

This is what gets me. Working hard for the past year on our photography has been a blast. We've taken the opportunities given to us and we've thought outside of the box when it comes to trying different ideas and projects. The world is so small now and within a few clicks you can be talking to someone you never would have expected to have a conversation with. We've taken the leaps of faith necessary to reach out to people that are bigger, better and far beyond our scope in order to collaborate and create photos with. We don't have a plan for becoming a huge photography studio. We love our family and our babies and our home life. But, God has blessed us with much in just these few little steps that we've taken and we are willing and able to follow the course he has set before us until he puts a wall in our way.

One of the opportunities that he has given us is to shoot different stories for magazines. If I could pick any field of photography to work in, Editorial is it. I love having the creative freedom to come up with a story that suits the clothing or person you are featuring and run with the idea for as long as it takes to complete the story. Seeing our work in print is one of the best feelings, knowing that our photos were used for a purpose and are matched with words that express the story we wrote with our photos.

Trouvé Magazine is a brand new project that features creatives and their stories. Volume 1 focused on beginnings and how these sucessful creatives started their different projects, including Moorea SealeVagabond Barista and Mornings Like These. We were lucky enough to get to take photos of Jeff Sheldon the creator of Ugmonk, a sleek and modern design label featuring clothing and lifestyle goods. Jeff and his wife Mandy were so kind to let us into their home and workspace to shoot the story and we couldn't have had a nicer time. Amanda Marko, the amazing Editor of Trouvé was able to accompany us for the shoot. She is incredible. Seriously, there should have been a story on her in the magazine. The amount of hard work and amazing effort she put into Trouvé is unbelievable and as you can seen in the magazine, really payed off. Jeanne Petrizzo wrote the article on Ugmonk and her words could not have been a better match.

I so hope you grab a copy of the magazine over on the site and enjoy it as much as I did. It is beautifully designed and meticulously put together. Their are so many insightful and lovely features in the magazine, I couldn't stop reading.

We are so happy to be able to do a giveaway today, for not one, but TWO copies of Trouvé Magazine Volume 1!  Follow the instructions below to enter and good luck!!

{UPDATE: Congrats to Noble Gill and Stephanie Luc on winning their own copies of Trouve Magazine! Look for an email in your inbox}
