Portland:
- drove through the Columbia River Gorge to get there. Stopped at Multnomah Falls.

- Stayed with this lovely lady once we got there.
- Walked along the waterfront and searched out Voodoo Doughnuts. The around the block line was crazy so we went to Stumptown Coffee instead.
- Went to church at RCC and had a big ol' fellowship dinner afterward with some really friendly people.
- Explored Powell's Books and then got some savory sandwiches at Kenny and Zuke's. I had a great big hot dog and some perfect french fries.
- Went to Stumptown again, this time at the Ace Hotel, which has a pretty photo booth.
- Found our way to the Wonder Ballroom and watched Ben Kweller open up for Pete Yorn. Great concert and really nice venue.
It was so nice to get away for a couple days and see a new place and some fun times.
it felt like a week. it was weird to realize back in MTown that only a weekend had gone by when we got back
